Futuristic Labs, RIKU  is seeking a growth-oriented Embedded Firmware Developer.  You are able to collaborate with development teams to deliver a full suite of automated tests to ensure consistent high code quality and features. Write and maintain system-level automated tests written in Python.


Requirements

The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:


  • Work on stress testing and optimising our C/C++ code base that runs on our kitchen robot (it enables the automatic cooking magic to happen).

  • Work with our current stack that includes Python (application), C/C++ (real-time), RTOS, and Raspbian OS.

  • Write code for new features.

  • Develop test schemes for various functionalities of the machine.

  • Write interface code to test various actuators/sensors.

  • Build prototype breadboard-style setups to enable our mechanical/design engineers to test various actuators or sensors that will be added to the next version of our product.

  • Create basic electronic setups either using Arduino or Raspberry Pi to test various functionalities.

  • Test and debug existing PCBs.

  • Write technical documentation.

  • Work with the assembly team and develop test jig setups.
